Role: Nursery Room Leader (Pre school)

Location: Glasgow

Hours: 38 hours per week

Pay: £30,000-31,100 per annum

Edenvale Recruitment are currently looking for Nursery Room Leader to join our client’s team in Glasgow on a permanent basis.

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner to lead and support one of their very large rooms.

Requirements:

• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.

• Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development.

• Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments.

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor always.

• Work within a team to support all children and team members within your room.

• Lead and support your team together with supporting their training needs to ensure best practice always.

• Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met.

• Qualified Level 3 or above, with at least 3 years experience of working in a day nursery and at least 1 year of leading a team.
